Volleyball Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Cascade Bruins

The Everett Seagulls are taking a road trip to challenge the Cascade Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Everett and seven for Cascade.

Everett lost 3-0 to Snohomish on Tuesday.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ava Urbanozo, who had 21 assists and nine digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 21 or more assists the last 14 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Grace Regan-Bone, who had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Cascade came up short against Kamiak on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Everett, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Everett took their victory against Cascade when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seagulls since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
