Softball Recap: Russellville Comes Up Short

Russellville lost against Rogers Heritage back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cyclones took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the War Eagles.

Ava Brock made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. Raegan Skiles also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Russellville's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Rogers Heritage, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.

Coming up, Russellville will host Dover at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rogers Heritage, they are taking a road trip to take on Springdale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
