Chicopee Comp and Minnechaug Regional are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2021, but not for long. The Colts will square off against the Falcons at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Chicopee Comp and 11 for Minnechaug Regional dating back to last season.

Chicopee Comp came up short against Agawam on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Chicopee Comp was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Minnechaug Regional lost 3-0 to West Springfield on Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-17.

Minnechaug Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Chicopee Comp, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Chicopee Comp took their victory against Minnechaug Regional when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
