Rodriguez has gone 8-2 against Wood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Rodriguez is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Wood will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Rodriguez extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Mustangs came out on top against Fairfield by a score of 7-4.

Nick Schikore looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Drew Beasley was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Gregory, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Wood came up short against Napa on Friday and fell 6-1. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Wood's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Rodriguez, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Rodriguez beat Wood 8-4 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
