While losing is never fun, West Point-Beemer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Pendragons are ranked tenth).

West Point-Beemer's defeat came about despite a quality game from Allie Kaup, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.

Meanwhile, Madison's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Neligh-Oakdale. Madison has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their match on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
