Basketball Recap: Kihei Charter Comes Up Short

Kihei Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 52-40 to the Molokai Farmers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigersharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-29 on Friday.

Kihei Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Molokai, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kihei Charter will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Maui Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for Molokai, they will square off against Seabury Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Seabury Hall has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three contests.
