Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Triumphs

Greenwood's tournament run continued when they took on Rock Hill on Saturday. The Eagles skirted past the Bearcats 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Greenwood got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 15-8.

Greenwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-18 record this season. As for Rock Hill, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Greenwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against York on the 4th. As for Rock Hill, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Palmetto Christian Academy on the 4th.
