Naperville North won the last time they faced Waubonsie Valley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Huskies had just enough and edged out the Warriors 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Naperville North got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 24-26, 25-18.

Naperville North picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 7-11. As for Waubonsie Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Naperville North will take on Riverside-Brookfield in a tournament on Friday. As for Waubonsie Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on Naperville Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
