Soccer Recap: Bethesda Christian Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Covenant Christian, Bethesda Christian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Horizon Christian a 2-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Bethesda Christian were the better team in the second half.

Joey Ngarambe was the driving force of Bethesda Christian's attack as he scored both of Bethesda Christian's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.

Bethesda Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Horizon Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Bethesda Christian will square off against Tri-West Hendricks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Horizon Christian, they will welcome Tabernacle Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
