Softball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University's tournament run continued when they took on Dwyer on Saturday. The Titans fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2.

University saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Delgado, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Another was Jacquelyn Lara, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

University's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Dwyer, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

University wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-8 win against Flagler Palm Coast on the 8th. As for Dwyer, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-1 defeat against Coral Springs Charter on the 8th.
