Central Catholic takes over top spot in the region; Troy makes a big move.

Watch the Panthers in action in their 38-7 victory.Central Catholic (Pittsburgh) moved to the top of the MaxPreps northeast region football computer rankings this week, becoming the first Pennsylvania team other than St. Joseph's Prep to hold the position this year.
Central Catholic nudged out St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.), which was idle last week. St. Joseph Regional will play in the New Jersey Non-Public Group III championship game this week.
Troy (N.Y.) made a big move this week, jumping from No. 24 to No. 9 after winning the New York Class AA state championship over the weekend.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Northeast region includes teams from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
