Football Recap: New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Falls to Pleasant Plains in First Game of Season + How To Watch

New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pleasant Plains Cardinals. The Vipers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Brady Crews threw for 79 yards on eight of 16 attempts. Charlie Neuman was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards.
