Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Saint Mary's Hall

Saint Mary's Hall waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the St. Augustine Knights. The Barons were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Knights, so the Barons were just returning the favor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-15.

Saint Mary's Hall was led to victory by Breanna Benavides and Luciana Stevens. Benavides had 19 digs and five aces, while Stevens had 20 assists and three digs. Benavides has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 49 times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Saint Mary's Hall was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They are 16-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Saint Mary's Hall's record is now 16-4. As for St. Augustine, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
