Volleyball Recap: Abbi Ohms Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Jackson

Alexander won the last time they faced Jackson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Ironman/Ironladies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-28, 25-16, 26-24.

Alexander's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abbi Ohms, who had 14 digs and three assists. Ohms is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Alexander wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Warren on the 23rd. As for Jackson, they will welcome Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
