Softball Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss

Kearny lost against Montgomery last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Kearny fell 8-3 to Montgomery. The Komets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kearny's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Montgomery, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Kearny will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southwest SD at 3:30 p.m. on April 9. Southwest SD will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Kearny surely won't give up without a fight. As for Montgomery, they have already played their next game, an 8-1 defeat against Sweetwater on the 29th.
