A well-balanced attack led the Copenhagen Golden Knights over the Lyme Central Indians in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Copenhagen enjoyed a cozy 58-40 win over Lyme Central. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Copenhagen.
Copenhagen had a senior duo take command as Landon Sullivan scored 24 points along with nine rebounds and five assists and Samuel Carroll dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sullivan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Tufo, who scored seven points.
Copenhagen has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Lyme Central, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copenhagen will take on Belleville Henderson Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Belleville Henderson Central and Copenhagen are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Lyme Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thousand Islands at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
