Volleyball Recap: Freeport Comes Up Short

The Freeport Pretzels came up short against the Boylan Catholic Titans on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Pretzels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8.

Maddox Olson paced Freeport's offense, picking up three kills. Olson got some help from Bryce Mcdanel and his two assists.

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boylan Catholic, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Freeport has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Christian Life on the 7th. As for Boylan Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Rockford East on the 8th.
