Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rose Bud on Saturday, Clinton came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets lost 10-1 to the Robinson Senators on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Senators: they've now lost nine in a row.

Clinton's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Robinson, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Senators beat Clinton by a score of 9-8 later that day.
