Baseball Game Preview: Walton Wildcats vs. Manhattan Center for Science & Math Rams

The Walton Wildcats will challenge the Manhattan Center for Science & Math Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Walton didn't have quite enough to beat DeWitt Clinton and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one run.

Meanwhile, Manhattan Center for Science & Math earned a 4-1 win over Mott Haven on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

This is the second loss in a row for Walton and nudges their season record down to 3-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Manhattan Center for Science & Math, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Walton took their win against Manhattan Center for Science & Math in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
