Soccer Recap: Dutch Fork Starts off Right with Win over James Island

Dutch Fork had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They beat the James Island Trojans by a goal, winning 3-2. The Silver Foxes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans on Saturday, too.

Wyatt Moore and Max Werner scored all three of Dutch Fork's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

James Island's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Dutch Fork wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Indian Land on the 22nd. As for James Island, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Clover on the 23rd.
