Volleyball Recap: Western Wayne Wildcats vs. North Pocono Trojans

Western Wayne lost against North Pocono back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 25-19 in the first set.

Western Wayne started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-10, 15-12.

Lauren Beamer paced Western Wayne's offense, picking up 29 kills. Beamer got some help from Abbie Washine and her 32 assists. Beamer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Phoebe Schmitt, each putting up five.
