Basketball Recap: New Prague Takes a Loss

New Prague was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were beaten by the Orono Spartans 93-64. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-33 back in January.

New Prague's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Orono, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Prague will take on St. Louis Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in St. Louis Park's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests. As for Orono, they will face off against Chaska at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orono knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 matches -- so hopefully Chaska likes a good challenge.
