Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Grove). They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the South Western Mustangs on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rockets needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The team relied heavily on Owen Grove, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Spring Grove's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-5-1 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Abrum Dull, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

The win snapped Spring Grove's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-5-1 record. As for South Western, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Spring Grove has already played their next match, a 7-5 defeat against Susquehannock on the 17th. As for South Western, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against New Oxford on the 17th.
