Softball Recap: Bishop Kearney Takes a Loss

The matchup between Bishop Kearney and Pittsford on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Kings fell 13-9 to the Panthers. If the Kings were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Bishop Kearney and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Pittsford, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Kearney will square off against Aquinas Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pittsford, they will challenge Eastridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
