Softball Recap: Waltham Comes Up Short

Waltham lost against Bedford back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hawks came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 29-4.

Waltham saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josie Proskoczilo, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Waltham's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bedford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waltham will face off against Concord-Carlisle at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bedford, they will head out to challenge Westford Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
