 Dundee-Crown lost against Buffalo Grove back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Dundee-Crown Chargers took  an  11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffalo Grove Bison. Dundee-Crown has struggled against Buffalo Grove recently, as their  contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Dundee-Crown saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  McKayla Anderson, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5. Anderson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.  Brianna Hamblen was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Dundee-Crown  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Buffalo Grove struck out nine times.
 On Buffalo Grove's side, they got a big performance out of  Erin Ryan, who  went 1-for-3 with four  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Leah Hampton, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Dundee-Crown's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 16-15. As for Buffalo Grove, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record  this season.
 Dundee-Crown will head out on the road to  face off against  Carmel at 4:45  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Buffalo Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grayslake Central at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The timing is sure in Buffalo Grove's favor as the  squad sits on four straight wins at home while Grayslake Central has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
