Baseball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They came up short against the Hurricane Redskins on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Riverside got a good showing from Nate Beasley, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Beasley has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Hurricane, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Coming up, Riverside will head out on the road to square off against Parkersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hurricane, they will face off against Fairland at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
