The St. Paul Knights''s eight-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Saturday. They strolled past Abby Kelley Foster with points to spare, taking the game 24-6.
St. Paul can attribute much of their success to John Walsh Karam, who rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns. St. Paul also got help from Ryan Richmond who showed off his sure hands for 117 receiving yards.
St. Paul's victory bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Abby Kelley Foster, their loss was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
St. Paul will square off against Bartlett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (Bartlett is ranked 280th, while St. Paul is ranked 267th). As for Abby Kelley Foster, they will be playing at home against Ayer Shirley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ayer Shirley comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
