Basketball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin suffered their closest loss since December 16, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of the Catholic - N.I. Panthers by a score of 48-46. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 68-44.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Catholic - N.I., they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-16 record this season.

Looking ahead, Franklin will be playing at home against West St. Mary at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic - N.I., they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-47 win against Northwest on the 8th.
