Volleyball Recap: Tanner Takes a Loss

Tanner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lexington Golden Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-13.

Tanner's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tanner will face off against Buckhorn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lexington, they will head out to challenge Decatur Heritage Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
