Strathmore lost to Farmersville back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Everything went the Strathmore Spartans' way against the Farmersville Aztecs as the Strathmore Spartans made off with a 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Spartans have posted against the Aztecs since October 11, 2018.

Strathmore's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Farmersville between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-15.

Strathmore was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Farmersville only served six.

Despite the loss, Farmersville saw an underclassman step up: Elizabeth Silva had 11 digs and three aces. Silva is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

Strathmore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Farmersville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-13-1 record.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Summit Charter Collegiate Academy the next time they take the court. Strathmore will head out to face Summit Charter Collegiate Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Farmersville will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
