Football Recap: Reed Point/Rapelje Comes Up Short

Reed Point/Rapelje was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 39-32 to the West Yellowstone Wolverines. Even if the Renegades couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Bodie Ott threw for 49 yards and one TD. Jace Stevens was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Dillon Gehnert rushed for 138 yards and a pair of scores.

Reed Point/Rapelje's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for West Yellowstone, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Reed Point/Rapelje is set to square off against their familiar foe Gardiner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Yellowstone will take on rival Bridger at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
