Basketball Recap: Carrollton Comes Up Short

If Carrollton was riding high fresh off their 55-14 takedown of Minerva last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Carrollton Warriors took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 58-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Carrollton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season. As for Strasburg-Franklin, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrollton has already played their next matchup (against Hoover), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Strasburg-Franklin has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against East Canton.
