Soccer Recap: Westview Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Westview was not quite Concord's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They came up short against the Minutemen, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that Westview have lost by exactly three goals.

Westview's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Concord, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westview will head out to take on Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Concord, they will venture away from home to square off against Penn at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Penn's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Concord's offense will have their work cut out for them.
