The Lancers never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday. East Union wouldn't have won without Damian Valencia, who scored the game-winner.

The victory made it two in a row for East Union and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. As for Waterford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

East Union has already played their next match, a 1-1 win against Denair on the 22nd. As for Waterford, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Oakdale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
