Soccer Recap: Minford Comes Up Short

Minford and Valley pushed the score to 10-0 the last time they played Valley, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Falcons fell just short of the Indians by a score of 1-0. Minford were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Minford and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Minford has already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Northwest on the 20th. As for Valley, they will take on Waverly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
