Baseball Recap: Parrish Community Bulls vs. Manatee Hurricanes
Parrish Community lost to Manatee back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulls fell 3-0 to the Hurricanes. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bulls were not able to get on the board.
Mason Plese was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over 6.1 innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2025.
This is the second loss in a row for Parrish Community and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Manatee, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parrish Community will welcome Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bulls' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Manatee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winter Haven at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hurricanes 2.2, the Blue Devils 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
