Softball Recap: Charlotte Takes a Loss

Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Western Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Orioles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Western, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlotte will challenge Eaton Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Orioles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Western, they will head out to take on Olivet at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
