Football Game Recap: Mt. Ayr vs. Clarinda

Mt. Ayr made easy work of Clarinda on Friday and carried off a 28-6 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Mt. Ayr had established a 28-0 advantage.

The win bumped Mt. Ayr's record up to 6-1. The defeat dropped Clarinda's record to 2-6.

Next week Mt. Ayr take on Van Meter at 7:00 PM. Van Meter have averaged 44.666666666666666666666666667 points over the course of their past five games, so Mt. Ayr might be in for a challenge. As for Clarinda, they will face off against West Central Valley. West Central Valley also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their matchup this week, so look for the defenses to decide this one.
