Volleyball Recap: Marathon's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Marathon had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tri-County Penguins on Tuesday. This was payback for the Red Raiders, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Their offense was headlined by Emma Love and Katelyn Love, who picked up five kills apiece. They were helped by Brinly Stencil and Mayven Schneider, who contributed seven assists each. Stencil was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The win got Marathon back to even at 6-6. As for Tri-County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
