Volleyball Recap: Becton Comes Up Short

Becton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Secaucus Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Becton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Secaucus, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Becton will take on St. Mary at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Secaucus, they will challenge Wood-Ridge at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
