Baseball Recap: Treasure Coast Takes a Loss

Treasure Coast entered their match against Vero Beach on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Treasure Coast Titans fell 8-3 to the Vero Beach Indians. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Treasure Coast saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Killian Gauthier, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Gauthier also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Treasure Coast now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Vero Beach, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Coming up, Treasure Coast will be playing at home against Lincoln Park Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Vero Beach, they will take on Satellite at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Satellite is on a three-game streak of home wins, Vero Beach a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
