McConnellsburg's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hoyt Glenn, who dropped a triple-double with 16 points, ten boards, and ten assists. Glenn has been hot, having also posted five or more steals the last six times he's played. Dominic Jefferson was another key player, going 6 for 12 to rack up 20 points and three steals.

McConnellsburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Claysburg-Kimmel came up short against Moshannon Valley on Monday and fell 60-51.

McConnellsburg's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.4 points. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.

Everything came up roses for McConnellsburg against Claysburg-Kimmel in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 64-36 victory. In that contest, McConnellsburg amassed a halftime lead of 45-19, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
