Volleyball Game Preview: Summit Christian Academy Eagles vs. St. Michael the Archangel Guardians

Summit Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against St. Michael the Archangel recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Guardians at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Summit Christian Academy came up short against Adrian on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-13.

Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel faced Lee's Summit North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Guardians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broncos. The Guardians haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

St. Michael the Archangel's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Summit Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11-2.

Summit Christian Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to St. Michael the Archangel in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
