Softball Game Preview: Pinkston Vikings vs. Kimball Knights

The Pinkston Vikings will head out to square off against the Kimball Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kimball took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Pinkston, who comes in off a win.

Pinkston played against Roosevelt on Friday and won via forfeit.

Kimball is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Friday. They came up short against North Dallas, falling 15-3.

The win made it two in a row for Pinkston and bumps their season record up to 9-12. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Kimball, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything went Pinkston's way against Kimball in their previous matchup back in March, as Pinkston made off with a 23-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
