Football Recap: Flanagan Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Flanagan's offense. They took a blow against the Coral Glades Jaguars on Wednesday, falling 41-0. The defeat leaves the Falcons still looking for their first win of the season.

Flanagan's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Coral Glades, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flanagan will venture away from home to face off against South Broward at 4:30 p.m. on March 19th. Flanagan has given up an average of 29.5 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Coral Glades, they will head out to take on Monarch at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Coral Glades 6.7, Monarch 10.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
