Camdenton had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Lebanon Yellowjackets by a score of  3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Lakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 While Camdenton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lebanon scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 21-25, 29-27,  25-20.
 Madison Sykora paced Camdenton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Sykora got some help from  Bella Asante and her 40 assists.  Jayla Thibodeau controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Lebanon now  has a losing record of 2-3.
 Coming up, Camdenton will be taking part in a tournament against West Plains  at 4:45  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Lebanon, they will welcome Joplin  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The  contest will  give the Yellowjackets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
