Gray Collegiate Academy entered their tilt with Brookland-Cayce on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Bearcats 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Gray Collegiate Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Brookland-Cayce between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-16.

Courtney Burgess paced Gray Collegiate Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Burgess really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. Emily Burgess controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Gray Collegiate Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Brookland-Cayce, they are on a 32-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
