Volleyball Recap: Rio Vista Comes Up Short

After flying high against Delta last Tuesday, Rio Vista came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Argonaut Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-13.

Rio Vista's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Argonaut, they moved to 3-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Vista will face off against Winters at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Argonaut, they will square off against Bret Harte at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
