Basketball Recap: Tecumseh Takes a Loss

Tecumseh lost against Bellefontaine back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tecumseh Arrows took a 71-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bellefontaine Chieftains. The Arrows have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bellefontaine's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quinlan Zedeker led the charge by going 8 of 16 en route to 28 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Zedeker a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Tiffany Boop, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 17 points and three steals.

Tecumseh now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Bellefontaine, they moved to 11-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Tecumseh has already played their next matchup, an 80-49 loss against Carroll on the 27th. As for Bellefontaine, they will take on Urbana at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Urbana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season.
